As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore (Psalm 125:2 Amplified)
Into the Deeper Places
Beloved, once again, I ask you to come. I am drawing you into the deeper places of My heart, My presence, among the folds of My garment. I am drawing you into a place of intimate habitation where revelations of who I say you are in Me abound. I am enclosing you round and about among the swirling movement of My anointing, infusing you with My virtue. I surround you as the mountains surround Jerusalem.
Yes, you are hemmed in round and about. No matter what circumstances look like, no matter what you feel, no matter what others say, I am your strong tower, your rear guard. Yes, no matter what, I have drawn near to you. I do this because I delight in you and it gives Me the utmost pleasure to be with you. I am passionate for you. In fact, your life, your destiny is My passion.
Though others are pressing in all around, My gaze is on you. I am wooing you into intimacy as I draw you deeper and deeper into realms of My glory. I am touching every portion of your life, emotions, and feelings, even to the deep places hidden away in your thoughts and mind.
As I show hidden thoughts to you, release them to Me in exchange for the greatest freedom you have ever known. If I don't hold an account against you, why should you? My yoke is easy and My burden light. I died that you might not have to carry the weight. I have forgiven your sin and I did it willingly. Remember, you are My passion. It was your face set before Me at the "Cross." It was you I saw.
Your hidden thoughts and fears dont frighten Me, instead they draw Me. I am never taken by surprise. In fact, I knew all there ever was to know about you before you were ever born. I loved you then and I love you now. Nothing has changed or ever will. It has never been dependent on what you did or didn't do. It only depends of who you say I am to you. I am your deliver, your friend, your redeemer, your healer and so much more than can ever be said or written. And at this very moment, I am near to you, as near as your next breath. I am encasing you with the very atmosphere of Heaven. You are Mine.
Therefore, let go of all hindrances and mindsets which limit our communion. Release them to Me and draw near with a heart of faith. Always remember, love covers sin, mercy triumphs over judgment and I cover you with My love.
PrayerEnclose me, captivate me Lord Jesus. I am Yours and You are mine. Like mighty mountains of strength and beauty You surround me, cover me. My heart delights in You and You alone. I surrender my feelings, my emotions. I surrender the hidden places of my heart in to Your safe care and comfort. I know, I confess, "You cover me with Your love." I receive Your freedom, Your anointing. Touch me. Breathe on me.
Reflect and Journal
1. What emotions and hidden places of your heart do you need to give to the Lover of your soul? Release them to Him, write your own personal devotion to Him, then listen and write His response.
Suggestions: Take the words He speaks to you and meditate on them, turn them into a prayer of agreement and proclaim them over yourself until you can receive them in all their fullness.
You may also continue on to the next devotion if you feel you have been able to receive the Fathers affirmation with your whole heart. Remember, the more you speak His words back over your own heart the more you will believe them. They will take root deep in your spirit and transform your thinking.
