The Hem Of Jesus's Garment, An Interactive Devotional, Day Three

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore (Psalm 125:2 Amplified)

Into the Deeper Places

Beloved, once again, I ask you to come. I am drawing you into the deeper places of My heart, My presence, among the folds of My garment. I am drawing you into a place of intimate habitation where revelations of who I say you are in Me abound. I am enclosing you round and about among the swirling movement of My anointing, infusing you with My virtue. I surround you as the mountains surround Jerusalem.

Yes, you are hemmed in round and about. No matter what circumstances look like, no matter what you feel, no matter what others say, I am your strong tower, your rear guard. Yes, no matter what, I have drawn near to you. I do this because I delight in you and it gives Me the utmost pleasure to be with you. I am passionate for you. In fact, your life, your destiny is My passion.

Though others are pressing in all around, My gaze is on you. I am wooing you into intimacy as I draw you deeper and deeper into realms of My glory. I am touching every portion of your life, emotions, and feelings, even to the deep places hidden away in your thoughts and mind.

As I show hidden thoughts to you, release them to Me in exchange for the greatest freedom you have ever known. If I don't hold an account against you, why should you? My yoke is easy and My burden light. I died that you might not have to carry the weight. I have forgiven your sin and I did it willingly. Remember, you are My passion. It was your face set before Me at the "Cross." It was you I saw.

Your hidden thoughts and fears dont frighten Me, instead they draw Me. I am never taken by surprise. In fact, I knew all there ever was to know about you before you were ever born. I loved you then and I love you now. Nothing has changed or ever will. It has never been dependent on what you did or didn't do. It only depends of who you say I am to you. I am your deliver, your friend, your redeemer, your healer and so much more than can ever be said or written. And at this very moment, I am near to you, as near as your next breath. I am encasing you with the very atmosphere of Heaven. You are Mine.

Therefore, let go of all hindrances and mindsets which limit our communion. Release them to Me and draw near with a heart of faith. Always remember, love covers sin, mercy triumphs over judgment and I cover you with My love.

Prayer

Enclose me, captivate me Lord Jesus. I am Yours and You are mine. Like mighty mountains of strength and beauty You surround me, cover me. My heart delights in You and You alone. I surrender my feelings, my emotions. I surrender the hidden places of my heart in to Your safe care and comfort. I know, I confess, "You cover me with Your love." I receive Your freedom, Your anointing. Touch me. Breathe on me.

Reflect and Journal

1. What emotions and hidden places of your heart do you need to give to the Lover of your soul? Release them to Him, write your own personal devotion to Him, then listen and write His response.

Suggestions: Take the words He speaks to you and meditate on them, turn them into a prayer of agreement and proclaim them over yourself until you can receive them in all their fullness.

You may also continue on to the next devotion if you feel you have been able to receive the Fathers affirmation with your whole heart. Remember, the more you speak His words back over your own heart the more you will believe them. They will take root deep in your spirit and transform your thinking.

Make Money Fast Without Spending Money

This method is know as bum marketing which essentially means not spending any money on your marketing efforts. Although this does not require an investment of money it does require an investment of time. Bum marketing as its known requires a certain degree of patience as the fruits of your labor may not be realized immediately. However you can speed up this process by implementing the right techniques.

Beyond the requirement of patience you need focus, determination and diligence. Let's begin with diligence. The first phase of bum marketing requires research. If you do a half assed job here your results will be poor. The key aspect of bum marketing is to find a niche that has low competition and a high volume of searches. Once you have identified this niche you need to find keywords that fit the above criteria.

When you have those keywords compiled in a list you are then going to write some articles with those keywords in your title and spread throughout the body of your article. Then in the bio box you will have a link back to your web page that will contain that keyword in the anchor text. Your web page will also have that keyword in the title and throughout the body. This indicates a high level of relevance for that keyword to the search engines..

With a number of links pointing back to your web page with this keyword you will find that the web page containing that keyword will rise in the search engines, eventually getting to the top ten giving you lots of free traffic. However not only that. The actual article itself can also show up on the first page of the search results for that keyword sometimes within a month of writing depending on the keyword competition.

So this is why the initial research phase requires due diligence. You need to take the time to research it properly. Determination is required so that you stick with it and even when it feels like you are getting nowhere you push on and constantly improve and integrate new ideas.

Then finally focus on the job on hand. Do not spread yourself thin doing multiple marketing methods. Take it one step at a time and get it right. This process does not only involve articles you can also place classified ads. You just need to make sure that you have more than 300 words on your ad copy when using this technique.

If you are are serious about making a living online and want to work with others to succeed then select one of the links below. Learn all you need to know about bum marketing methods.

Council of Nicaea Conclusion - The Origins of Christian Belief

In the year 325A.D the emperor of Rome, Constantine gathered a group of church bishops and other leaders who believes in Christianity. The purpose of the meeting was to define the true God for all Christians and eliminate any confusion within Christ's church.

By the end of this council, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit were considered one and the same. Before the council, there was confusion about, whether they should believe in one God, two gods or three entities.

Here's a statement from got questions, a popular Christian website, "The Council of Nicea affirmed the deity of Jesus Christ and established an official definition of the Trinity-the deity of The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit under one Godhead, in three co-equal and co-eternal Persons."

This was a pretty interesting article, if you've got time to read it, I would also suggest checking out Wikipedia for more information about the Council of Nicaea.

Here's Some of the Problems I Have with This Small Group of Proclaimed Christians.

If I'm reading this statement correctly, a group of people or religious leaders, 1700 years ago decided that Jesus, God the creator of everything in the universe and the Holy Spirit are the same. What does this mean to you? To me it establishes as a fact that a group of men, at a meeting, under the control of the Roman empire and the Emperor Constantine, made an agreement within the Council of man, not gods, that the Trinity was now a fact.

If this one thing was created by a group of men, doesn't it get you thinking about other things in your religion that might be false or even misleading. These are some of the facts that most Christians tend to either ignore or don't even have a clue that they exist.

I believe more Christians and other organized religions should inspire their followers to learn more about how their religions were formed and where they came from. I cannot verify that the Council of Nicaea ever took place, I'm basing this information on historical writings from man, that I either gather on the Internet or through books. I don't know if any of this is true or false, always use religion responsibly.

I don't need to believe the information, I don't need to believes the information in the Bible, I need to research and gather more information and with this information I can make an educated guess, and be happy with that, I suggest you do the same.

How to Start a Small Group Prayer Ministry

A while back, I was filled with an intense desire to start a small-group prayer ministry in my church. But when I approached my pastor, I could tell he was less than thrilled. I was puzzled by his response. Shouldn't a pastor be excited about people praying?

Then I realized that his lack of enthusiasm might have stemmed from negative experiences with "prayer" (also known as gossip) groups in the past.

In order to dispel his fears, I devised a set of guidelines to govern the proposed prayer group. After I submitted the following guidelines to him in writing, he immediately gave me the go-ahead. The guidelines might help you and your own pastor as you propose a church prayer ministry.

What a Small-Group Prayer Ministry Is:

1. A time to pray that the vision God has given our pastor for the church will be accomplished. (Note: If you don't know your pastor's vision for the church, ask!)

2. Prayer for the pastor and any needs he has expressed.

3. Prayer for the Sunday service.

4. Prayer for the different ministries and workers within the church.

5. Prayer for needs you're aware of within the congregation.

6. Prayer for other things God lays on your heart during the prayer time.

What a Small-Group Prayer Ministry Is Not:

1. An attempt to control or manipulate the pastor or any aspect of the church.

2. A time for expressing opinions, thoughts, or feelings regarding the pastor, his family, others within the church, or the church itself.

3. A gripe session or an opportunity to change things in the church we don't likeeither through discussion or "prayer."

4. A place to develop a spiritual "clique."

Having these guidelines typed up and ready to distribute to people interested in joining the prayer group will help eliminate problems before they have a chance to develop.

Making Positive Choices

The choice is yours. Question: Do you believe there is something you can specifically do in the next seven days that would make your personal, family and business life worse? Chances are good you did a double-take on that one and rhetorically responded, "What does he mean, 'make it worse'?" O.k., next question: Do you honestly believe there is something you can do in the next seven days that would make your personal, family and business life better? Chances are astronomical that you answered "yes" to that one. With that in mind, let me pause for a moment and ask you, do you believe the choice is yours, and do you believe that every choice has an end result?

Now, let's think it through as I make the observation that if you were serious with your answers, you just made a profound statement. Here's what you said: "I don't care how good or bad my past has been, I don't care how good or bad my circumstances are at this moment. There is something I can specifically do right now that will make my future either better or worse, and the choice is mine." That thought is truly profound. Think about it. You can do something about your future. To dramatically improve your odds at making it better, you must accept that responsibility. Two-time Pulitzer-prize winning historian Barbara Tuchman said that America's Number One need is people who accept responsibilities.

Action step: Make the right choice, take action on that choice, keep your thinking sound and persist, persist, persist - because if you do, I will enthusiastically say to you that I'll SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

How to Make Quick Money

If you would like to discover how to make quick money then, this article may be the most important article you read all day.

There are 2 important factors in making quick money:

1. Filling a Need, Want or Desire: That's to simply satisfy someone's thirst for a solution.
2. Leverage: In order for you to make this happen quickly, you'll want to use the power of leverage.

Let's break down #1: Everyone has problems in their lives. If they have a tooth ache, they need a dentist. If they have a terrible golf game and a tournament coming up this weekend, they need help fixing their golf game quickly.

If someone has a high school reunion coming up and they feel that they have gained a few too many pounds, they will want to lose weight quickly. If a couple is having trouble in their marriage and divorce is staring them straight in the face, they need help to save their marriage. If an Internet business owner can't figure out how to get traffic to his sales letter, they need help solving that problem.

All around you are problems that need solving. Every single person on this earth has a problem that needs to be solved.

So, how does this effect you and the fact that you want to solve the problem of making quick money from home?

If you solve a problem for someone you will be rewarded. Usually, that reward is financial gain. If you create a product like "How To Cure Your Migraine Headache In 17 Minutes Without Drugs" and charge $17 for the eBook (an instantly downloadable solution), then you will make money every time someone buys that solution.

The second part of the "how to make quick money solution" is Leverage: In order to make quick money, you'll need to solve a problem for a good amount of people in a very short period of time. In order to do that, you'll have to use leverage.

Use leverage and you'll make money fast.

You know that if you look up the definition of leverage on Dictionary.com, you'll find some interesting definitions like:

1. The mechanical advantage or power gained by using a lever
2. Power or ability to act or to influence people, events, decisions
3. The use of a small initial investment, credit, or borrowed funds to gain a very high return in relation to one's investment

There are so many good lessons that I could teach on from each one of these. Obviously, you'll need #2 if you want to make any sales. Your sales copy needs to have leverage...the ability to influence people and decisions...

...But what I am really referring to here is really #1. Think of the Internet or a business relationship, like a joint venture partner or affiliate, as the lever.

The Internet can be a lever because you can use it's power to gain the advantage of reaching millions of people in mere minutes. A relationship with someone who has a good quality list, who you can convince to send out an offer for your product, can also be a lever.

In this article, we talked about how to make quick money by finding and solving solutions to people's problems, and by using the power of leverage to do it quickly.

So, ponder on these tips and I am sure you can come up with dozens of ways to make quick money.

We Know More About What We Dont

The Power of Alpha - Instant Meditation - Success, Vibrant Health and Happiness is in Your Hands!

God has made us awesome and wonderful creatures. He has created us with a mind that can enable us to achieve whatever we set out to accomplish.

Most of us do not realize that we have the power in us to achieve the things that we most desire.

~ Man can shape circumstances, but circumstances should not be allowed to shape the man. We should seize upon circumstances as instruments by which to work. We
are to master them, but should not permit them to master us. ~
Ellen White

Did you know that you can easily re-program yourself to become the person you most desire to be?

How

By slowing your brainwaves to the Alpha Level. You can achieve the Alpha brainwave state by learning meditation techniques that can be time consuming and difficult to master. Or you can achieve instant meditation by listening to sound or music that has been recorded in the Alpha brainwave range.

All the changes that you want to make in your life are now at your fingertips!

~ The greatest discovery of the 19th century was not in the realm of the physical sciences, but the power of the subconscious mind touched by faith. Any individual
can tap into an eternal reservoir of power that will enable them to overcome any problem that may arise. ~
William James

What is Alpha?
Normally, we operate in the beta state. In this state our brain waves range from 15-26 HZ. When we are in the Alpha state our brain waves average range are around 7-12 HZ.

The Alpha state is a state of "aware relaxation". Emotions experienced in the alpha state include a sense of well being, pleasure and tranquility. The Alpha brainwave level appears to link the conscious to the subconscious mind.

At the Alpha level you can re-program yourself and reap numerous advantages. The Alpha brainwave state:

  • Calms and relaxes your body and mind. The brain's thought process is slowed and the mind is clear. Tension and stress just melts away.
  • Enhances Positive thinking and Emotional Healing. Releases Negative Attitudes. Research has found the Alpha Brainwave rhythm puts you in a Positive state of Mind and Mood, enabling you to erase your negative attitudes and gives you an overall feeling of Wellness.
  • When you are in Alpha state you are mentally able to Re-Program yourself to achieve anything you Desire:

    • Gain Complete Confidence
    • Stop Addictive Habits
    • Lose Weight
    • Release Disabling Fears
    • Goal Setting and Achieving
    • Achieve any success you desire.

~ Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. ~
    George Bernard Shaw

  • Accelerates Healing and enables you to Achieve Vibrant Health
  • Enhances your Learning Ability, Memory, Creativity and your Ability to Focus, Concentrate and Think more clearly.
  • Boosts Peak Performance - During speaking engagements, competitive sports and in all areas where peak performance is critical.
  • You achieve the Alpha brainwave state with ease when listening to music or sound recorded in the Alpha range. The best times to go to your Alpha level are first thing in the morning and again before you go to bed at night.

While listening, think about the things that you want to change in your life and visualize that you have already gained success in that area. Visualize what that looks like physically and what that feels like emotionally. Always visualize your success in the present tense.

For example, to heal an ailment, visualize your white blood cells surrounding and smothering the ailment until it is gone. Visualize yourself completely healthy and well.

Give yourself positive affirmations, such as the positive affirmation by French physician Emile Coue, "Everyday, in every way, I am getting better and better."

Practice Alpha meditation daily and gain the levels of success and healing you have been looking for. You have the power in you to change your life.

Are You Fed Up With Religion

Easy Meditation Techniques Anyone Can Learn

Meditation is something that can be done at any moment in time, by anyone, anywhere.

It costs nothing to experience the profound effects of a powerful meditative session, though it does take some practice to get to the point where you can enjoy the profound peace, as well as the other benefits associated with this ancient practice.

There are many different ways to meditate. All have value. For the purposes of this short article, we'll focus on some easy meditation techniques you can apply today to experience the magic of meditation for yourself.

Just remember that each of us experiences meditation at little differently. The best advice is to don't try to force anything. Just go with the flow and allow yourself to enjoy your few moments of silence. It's well worth it.

Strive only to reach a deep level of peace. If you go into your session expecting to see a white light or to hear a preconceived voice of guidance, you're setting yourself up for failure. These things -- or something else entirely may happen. But don't be discouraged if in your first attempt to make a conscious connection with your higher power, it doesn't quite happen.

Stay with it. Each session will build upon the one before and soon you'll have reached such a profound state of connection and bliss that nobody could stop you from indulging in a daily dose of meditation.

Step number one is to find a peaceful quiet location free from distractions. If you're using a meditation or visualization CD, queue it up now.

Find a comfortable chair, preferably one that allows you to keep your back straight and the energy flowing.

Next, simply close your eyes and begin to breathe deeply, slowly and naturally. As you breathe in, see the oxygen as rejuvenating and replenishing your body. And as you breathe out, imagine that you're simply letting go of every care and concern.

With each breath, allow your mind and body to sink further into a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful state of mind. One of the easy meditation techniques I often rely on is the "Stair Countdown". Imagine that you're on the top stair and as you take each step down, you become more deeply relaxed. Try counting down from 10 to 1 and by the time you reach 1, you'll be in a much more relaxed state.

Shoot for a 15 minute session in total. As you relax, random thoughts will enter your mind. Just let them leave as quickly as they arrived. Allow them to float on by. Your mind isn't used to meditation, so it naturally kicks out one thought after another. The more you can let these thoughts go and simply focus on the relaxing pleasure of your deep sense of peace, the more effective your meditation.

It doesn't take much, but it does take repetition. Don't expect to nail it on your first try. Simply follow these easy meditation techniques and allow yourself the gift of profound peace and so much more.

Ready to tap into your unlimited mind power to create the life you want? Meditation and Visualization can give you everything you can imagine - automatically. Just follow along on this powerful guided visualization and affirmation session and live the life of your dreams today. Click here for more.

Spiritual Growth and the Gift of Confusion

Although it is often distressing to feel confused about what next step to take on your spiritual growth path, the mental state of confusion is actually a higher state of consciousness than being certain of your beliefs and spiritual principles.

Feeling confused or "lost" is actually a signal that you are about to be given the opportunity to take a big leap forward in your spiritual growth. That is, you are being given the opportunity to become even more of your Authentic Self, living your life On Purpose, while experiencing more Joy and less struggle in your life.

Confusion is a red light that is telling you to STOP! LOOK! and LISTEN! It is telling you that you are reaching a crossroad, a place where a vital decision will be made. The decision you make at this crossroad will either move you forward or set you back, or as is the case with a railroad crossing where one does not heed the signals, you will get run over!

The gift of confusion is that it creates an opening for you to look at things in a new way. This confusion can be a catalyst to wake up to knowing more of who you are at a spiritual level.

(As an aside, it is good to remember that not making a decision, is the same as making a decision to stay with the status quo. The problem with that tactic is if you are not making a decision about what you want and taking action to claim it, the Universe will give you leftovers . . . cold leftovers . . . ugh!)

Here are 5 tips to move through confusion:

    1. Acknowledge that the confusion is a good thing. It is a gift that is moving you closer to being your Authentic Self where you can experience more joy and less struggle in your life.

    2. Make some quiet time to contemplate and formulate a rich and juicy high quality question that will lead you out of confusion and into greater understanding of who you are and what your purpose is. ("Why me?" is not a rich and juicy question.)

    3. Carefully crafted high-quality questions produce enormously useful high-quality answers.

    4. Rich and juicy high quality questions contain the following elements:

    - They are focused on the solution, or desired outcome, not the problem. For example: "What actions can I take to bring peace and harmony to this situation?"

(An example of a not-so-high-quality/problem-oriented version would be: "Whose fault is this and what is the best punishment for that person?")

    - Rich and juicy high quality questions almost always start with "what" or "how" and are crafted around creating a desired outcome, as opposed to "why" questions, that are usually focused on examining what went wrong and trying to prevent it from happening again. (This sometimes falls into the category of locking the barn door after the horse has been stolen, or crying over spilled milk, if I may use a few well known clichs.)

    - They are created with certainty that you will receive the answer, usually in the most delightful, and magical ways.

NOTE: Answers come from all kinds of sources: billboards, a song on the radio, an off-hand remark from a friend, dreams, personal insight/light bulb moments, and so on.

    5. You must have distraction-free quiet space in your life to recognize the answers when they come. Create quiet space by driving in silence once in a while instead of turning on the car radio. Occasionally find a quiet, secluded place for lunch instead of meeting friends in the company cafeteria. Take time for a soaking bath instead of a quick shower. You get the idea.

If you set your intention to create quiet space to hear answers, the Universe will provide you with practical options.

The best thing about confusion is its ability to move you forward. The danger is in getting stuck in it by not seeing it for the opportunity that it is for spiritual growth. Not opening your mind to seeing things in a new way will keep you going in circles until you get a bigger wake up call to get your attention.

The bigger the wake up call, the bigger the "ouch" it contains. It is so much less painful to pay attention early on!

Take this 5 tips to heart and put them into action. I guarantee your fog of confusion will lift and you will be on your way to living your life On Purpose, with more Joy and less struggle.

    What Is A Spiritual Relationship?

A Spiritual Relationship is when the two or more parties involved experience harmony, joy, understanding and peace. With a spiritual relationship the persons involved are connected at the heart. Emotionally they sense the deep connection they have together, and it is felt at their core or heart. A spiritual relationship is one that has a spiritual union felt both physically, mentally and at other levels. Both parties feel like their spirits are connected. There are certain people we connect to instantly. These are people to whom we have karmic connections. The same holds true for people we cant stand immediately. We have a karmic connection with them as well. Both of those types of relationships are spiritual because our spirit as or essence either is attracted or repelled beyond our conscious control.

A soul mate is another spiritual relationship that many folk encounter in a lifetime. With a soul mate there is a karmic connection that can span several lifetimes or incarnations. We can have more than one soul mate and they can be incarnation with us in a lifetime or serve as a spirit guide if they are not incarnated in our lifetime. Soul mates have shared many experiences with us and know us inside out. This kind of spiritual relationship can be very deep and stir both positive and negative emotions out of us. Just because someone is a soul mate does not make him or her always peaches and cream with us.

For the most part, a spiritual relationship has a lesson for us to learn. They give us the tools to develop characteristics and qualities that we need as human beings. Spiritual Relationships can also be identified with the patterns we pick in relationships. Issues of abuse, abandonment, love, manipulation, power struggles, intimacy and rejection all fall under the category of karma and spiritual relationships. These situations all teach us a lesson or two. The trick is do we really learn from these types of experiences or ignore the lesson. This is particularly true when one partner executes power over the other as a dominating person over a dependant person. The karmic lesson is the struggle that ensues as the dependant person struggles to regain the independence and get their power back.

Sometimes we become spiritually stuck and cannot evolve in a relationship. These are not spiritual relationships. These types of relationships hold us there not allowing for growth or other experiences. It is true that being a victim, martyr, persecutor, rescuer or love addict may have a karmic lesson but in this case the spiritual lesson is learning how to let go.

In conclusion a true spiritual relationship is one where both parties feel wholeness and complete together. It is the harmonization of male and female energy, which creates freedom within the relationship to accept each other unconditionally without hidden agendas. In a true spiritual relationship one know how to give or take without being asked and to meet the other parties needs without question.

    The Kingdom

There's a new movie out called "The Kingdom."

There was another one out not long ago entitled, "The Kingdom of God."

I am amazed how often God uses the stuff of earth as a reminder of His concerns.
He's often done this in the past as well. Start noticing. Maybe you've heard
many more teachings, as I have lately, pertaining to His Kingdom.

I was quite surprised when, not too long ago, an older Christian man asked me,
in all seriousness, to explain to him The Kingdom of God.

That subject was made so crystal clear to me several years ago - even though
I'd been in ministry for years. At that moment, it was like a blind man's eyes
being suddenly opened. BLING! Maybe I'm a bit slower than everyone else but,
instantly, it all made sense. These days, it's a favorite subject of mine. Perhaps
you will benefit from this simple explanation as well.

The word "Kingdom" comes from the Greek "basilea." It has nothing to do
with a place one can see, like the State Capital building, for example, for Jesus
said, "The Kingdom does not come with observation." He added,"nor will
people say, `Here it is,' or `There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within
you," (Luke 17:20-21). The word literally refers to the King's dominion. That
dominion goes wherever the King goes. His dominion is within YOU for
Romans 8;11 tell us that "the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead
dwells within you." As a result, where YOU go, so goes The Kingdom.

    Believe it or not.

Jesus went about declaring the Gospel of the Kingdom. "Repent! For the
Kingdom of God is at hand!"He said. He told His disciples, "As you go, preach,
saying, 'The Kingdom of God is at hand!"(Matt 10:7). The Kingdom of God will
still "play in Peoria." It amounts to five simple things:

    1) There is a King

    2) He has a Kingdom

    3) He wants you within it

    4) He wants to care for you there

    5) He wants to work WITH you and THROUGH you to bring others into that Kingdom.

    Simple, eh?

    SPIRITUAL SONSHIP

We hear alot about "sonship" these days. How is this "sonship" manifested
    in the Kingdom of God?

It's manifested through servanthood. (Matthew 20.28; John 13.13-17) - through
obedience - and by exercising our God-given authority over "the rulers, the
authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the
    heavenly realms," (Ephesians 6.12).

Our sonship is to glorify ONLY our Father in such a way that unbelievers will
see our obedience and commitment to God to such a degree that they will glorify
Him, (Matthew 5.16). We are to make people jealous for what we've found in Jesus.

    Is that happening?

    THE PURPOSE-DRIVEN KINGDOM

The purpose of the Kingdom of God is for its citizens to do God's will on earth
as His will is done in Heaven. "Thy Kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven," (Matt 6:10). Think of earth as a mirror of that which is going
on in the heavenlies. It became easier for me to do this when I remembered that
the moon glows only because of the son's reflection off the blue planet, earth.
Excuse me...that should read "the SUN's reflection." As I'm prone to saying,
as it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual.

    Yes, there is a spiritual counterpart for everything that we observe with our eyes;
by way of example, wars and fatherless children come readily to mind. As you grow
keen to this, you will see these parallels everywhere you look.

The Kingdom of God influences the world and the society in which the citizens of
the Kingdom reside. Jesus referred to us as "Salt and Light," after all, (Matt 5:13-16).
Salt heals, purifies, seasons, and is worthless when it loses its flavor. Light brings
exemplifies a new day, a promise of warmth and providence, clarity, hope and an
    absence of darkness.

We influence society through our lifestyle and by manifesting the Light of Christ in
our hearts through our values and decision making. We cry out against injustice,
and bear witness to Jesus Christ as the only way to reconciliation with God, realizing
that the ONLY solution we offer to injustice and sin is this: Reconciliation with God
through Jesus Christ. We are witnesses of what we've experienced through our
relationship with God through Christ. Our witness is revealed through our Character
as well as our Testimony, i.e., we cannot experience Jesus without being changed.
Galatians 5:22 reminds us that there will be "fruit" from having Christ resident within
us. Our witness cannot be divided; we cannot talk it without walking it. We will find
ourselves making disciples as others will WANT to follow our example and learn
    from us.

    SPIRITUAL vs MATERIAL STUFF

As citizens of the Kingdom of God, what is our relationship to material
possessions, personal talents, and our relationships? Simply put, we are stewards,
not owners. We are so often bogged down with so much earthly "stuff" that we
limit ourselves to true Kingdom availability. Don't get me wrong; it's no sin to
have stuff. Too often, however, our stuff has us.

Far too often, we are downright handicapped by it.

KINGDOM of GOD vs KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

In the Gospel of John, the concepts of the Kingdom of God on earth are
referred to as "eternal life." In most of the Gospel of Matthew, the author
refers to the Kingdom of God as the Kingdom of Heaven, out of respect to
the Jewish reverence for God's Name. He was being all things to all people in
an effort to win some. In Paul's writing he frequently refers to Kingdom Life
    as being "in Christ."

    It's all the same.

A simplified definition of the Kingdom of God might be: the rule of God in the
hearts and lives of those who have been born of His Spirit.

    How's that?

WHO CAN BE A CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM?

What Jesus presented about the Kingdom, different from man's religious
understanding of the Kingdom up to His time, was that The Kingdom was
available to "whosoever will." This included the Gentiles and the poor. They
entered its gates, not by their own efforts, but by placing total faith in God's
provision - the Bloody sacrifice of Christ. They would fulfill its purposes
ONLY through life in the Spirit and by following the Spirit (following Jesus'
    example) in all things.

Many Christians take issue with any insistence that discipleship and
Kingdom citizenship demands total, exclusive loyalty to King Jesus. Others will
argue that this precludes any political activity on the behalf of Kingdom Kids
(I'm reminded of 1 Samuel 8 when the Israelites demanded a king when they
ALREADY had one in Almighty God). Can we seek political solutions to life's
problem that we face as believers? Sure, we can. But when we have the Power
and Presence of God resident within us, why would we not simply trust in
that truth? Selah. After all, there are no natural answers to spiritual problems.

Are we REALLY "salt and light"in our communities? Are we thermostats or
thermometers, setting the temperatures of our environments or merely reacting
to what's already been set by others in our midst? If that's the case, who is
influencing whom? The Christian social action program comes about through:

    1) moral lifestyles in relationship with God

    2) personal assistance of the poor and oppressed

    3) prophetic resistance to societal ills (sin)

    4) making disciples

    POINTS TO PONDER

This is an interesting thought: The People of God (in the Old Testament) never
included ALL or ONLY the Israelites. Have you noticed? Look at Jesus'
genealogy and see how many Gentiles (non-Jews) are included. Also, see
how many Jews the Pharisees excluded from the Kingdom: the poor, the sick,
the debtors, etc. In fact, if you were one of them, or suffered natural disaster
and lost your crops one year, you were considered cursed according to
Deuteronomy 28. How contrary to what Jesus taught. How they must have
    hated Him!

The first Church (ekklesia) of Jesus Christ was founded with 3,000 Jewish
members. It was not until Acts 10 that the Holy Spirit was poured out upon
Gentile believers. I always found it interesting that Lydia (Acts 16) was
perceived as "a worshiper of God" by Paul (Which god, by the way?). So, the Church
(the People of God) is clearly the representation of the presence of the
Kingdom of God on earth, through the immanent Presence of God by the
Holy Spirit who guides into all truth and corrects us in our Doctrine and
    thinking.

When the Kingdom of God is active in the heart of a Believer, the will of
God is done on earth BY that Believer. Remember the Lord's Prayer (the
    "Our Father")? (Matthew 6:10).

When the Kingdom of God is the source of our citizenship and loyalty, we
will follow after peace, do Justice and love mercy, walking humbly before
    our King.

When we do the work of the Kingdom, we will help the poor, helpless, sick
and disenfranchised. Not through a representative human government,
but with our own hands and resources.

When we realize that we are part of a victorious Kingdom on earth, we will
    be about our Father's business.

In the Upside-Down Kingdom of God, you have to lose your life to find it.
You must give to receive. You must give all in order to find treasure. You
must be meek in order to be strong. And the last will be first.

There is no contest between the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of
Light. Jesus already won the battle and the war. It is our job to take back the
territory which the devil has been holding and gaining by deception and fraud.

WE must advance the Kingdom and we've been given everything we would
ever need in order to accomplish the mission through the Holy Spirit within us.

    Every blessing,
    Michael Tummillo

    Three Steps For Getting Motivated

When the financial markets are down, housing sales are less than desirable and the norm seems to be chaos, one of the hardest things for a person to do is motivate yourself. It doesn't matter what it is you are working on or need to get done; you just can't seem to get started.

Do you need a "jump start" to get going but don't know where to go to get powered up. Or, maybe you feel more like a flat tire. You know the tire is flat and you know that you need to put air into it before you can drive the car, but how do you go to get air for the tire if the tire is already flat?

Is there a solution, a readily available one? Can you "jump start" or re-energize yourself to the point that you are once again motivated?

Amanda, a bright talented department head, was having a lot of trouble getting started on projects she'd ignored for weeks, maybe months. It was becoming quite a chore. She had procrastinated long enough on her given projects that they were really piling up making self-motivation and the projects seem overwhelming and insurmountable tasks.

    Where Do You Begin

Amanda would say, "I just don't know where to begin. I don't think I have enough energy to get started." She was even overheard saying, "maybe if I leave the stuff there long enough, it will disappear on its own." While she didn't need anyone to discourage her, she did need to know projects never go away on their own.

The more she procrastinated, the more unmotivated she became, turning what might once have been a routine simple project into a mountain sized sand pile to move with only a teaspoon. The only way to tackle these types of issues is head on. You eat a mile high pie (or move a mountain sized project) the same way you eat anything else, one bite (one teaspoon or step) at a time.

Re-energizing self and self motivation is really much easier than you might think when you apply some basic Feng Shui principles. There are three easy steps Amanda used to shift her energy that you can follow.

First - decide that today is the day to begin. Once you have made that decision you have put into play all of the necessary energy shifts you will need to move forward. When it comes to personal actions, energy follows intent. By making a commitment to yourself that you will begin that much overdue project, event, un-cluttering or you fill in the blank __________, your personal energy will follow your intent. Feng Shui is all about using positive energy (in this case the positive energy of self-motivation or re-energizing) to bring about desired results (getting on with the projects, events or procrastinations you've been putting off). Remember, what you focus on multiplies. If you focus on getting motivated that is exactly what will happen.

Step two - get a pencil and paper so you can make a list. Place on the paper all of the projects, issues or events that need to be taken care of. Once you have everything listed, carefully review the list to find the single most important item on that list that would give you the best energy boost if you no longer had to worry about it. Make it No. 1 on your list. Then review each of the other items on the list giving them an appropriate value of importance. Now, you have a plan. Just creating the plan is very motivating because once you see your plan; you can also see that you have become focused and energized about getting those items done that are on your list.

NOW, get started. Begin with on item No. 1. The most important way to motivate self is to take action. You will immediately feel energized. You will also feel in control and not at the mercy of all of those projects, events or issues you've been dreading to tackle for months on end; or ever since the chaotic doom and gloom hit the news cycle. Taking action means you've taken one bite of that mile high pie or you've removed one teaspoon of sand from your mountain. With each bite or teaspoon you get closer and closer to completion and more and more motivated.

By applying these few principles of re-energizing and motivating herself, Amanda slowly became more and more motivated to move forward. The positive energy of completing one project was helping her focus positive energy on completing the next project as well.

Amanda didn't need a massive make over. She simply needed to create a plan and take one step at a time to see her plan to completion. Like Amanda, once you've recognized what needs to be done, make your plan and "take that first step." You will be on the road to completion. With every step you take, with every bite of your pie or every teaspoon of your mountain you move, your energy and self motivation will grow by leaps and bounds.

Re-energizing and self-motivation are all about making a plan and taking action. Positive action creates positive motivating energy which in turn creates desired results. Use this simple formula, it really works.

Self Esteem - If You Have a Compulsion to Help

Are you willing to let those around you make their own mistakes and learn their own lessons? Or does your self esteem demand that "save them from all that suffering"?

Are you letting others be right (or wrong), or are you trying to MAKE others be right? What's the difference, you ask? Here it is in a nutshell.

If you're letting others be right, you're trusting them to have good judgment and make useful decisions.

On the other hand, making others be right doesn't involve trust in their judgment. It requires taking over for them and making their decisions for them. This is a way of dominating others.

True, the dominator is motivated by good intentions (usually). And he almost certainly wants what's good for those around him, but he considers himself the best judge of what that good may be. He's certain he knows better than others do. However, trying to keep others on the proper path is like playing God with their lives.

There's no hint of equality in a relationship like that.

You've heard the term "smother love." It refers to a parent who so over-protects her children that the kids never learn basic self-reliance and grow up to be completely dependent on that parent. They never develop the self esteem of a healthy, self reliant adult.

When I was a kid, a neighbor lady got a new puppy. It was a delightful little white dog -- a tiny poodle -- named Powder. And she sure did love little Powder. She carried that dog everywhere with her. She went shopping with the dog in her bag, carried it with her to the Laundromat, even put it into a little basket in a high chair at the table when her family was eating.

And the dog never learned to walk5B2 right. When it died at an early age, the vet said it was probably because its heart and other organs never developed properly. Carrying little Powder around everywhere looked sweet, but it ultimately killed him prematurely.

It's possible to do too much for others. If you feel the urge to save others from themselves, that's not a bad thing. And it's certainly acceptable to offer help. But does your own limited self esteem make it impossible to trust others? Are you cramming your help down their throats? If so, such help may be stunting their growth, denying them the opportunity to learn from their own mistakes and to develop a powerful, healthy self esteem of their own.

    Self Esteem and Body Image

Our self esteem has a lot to do with our body image. How much do we accept our own bodies? Are we good enough to be ...?

Are we good enough to have ...?

Are we good enough to do ...?

The answers depend entirely on our own self esteem. Although our bodies have something to do with how others treat us, the most important factor is how we view ourselves.

If we hold an image of our bodies as being messed up then we have a negative impact on our bodies as well as our self esteem.

If we think we are our bodies, then we are building esteem for the wrong self.

We build esteem for our bodies by seeing their true perfection. The first step in doing that is accepting them the way they are. They are okay the way they are.

What effect does self acceptance have on our health?

Many people believe that we have energetic blueprints for our bodies. This energetic blueprint affects the condition of our bodies. The blueprint comes first. The actual body condition comes some time later.

If you were fortunate enough to see the movie What the Bleep, you saw microscopic pictures of water after it was exposed to prayer, positive thoughts, and various negative emotions.

    The results were astonishing!

The microscopic pictures of the water exposed to negative emotions and thoughts looked like a real mess. However, the pictures of the positive emotion exposed water looked like nature's works of art. They were harmonious and beautiful.

Imagine what effect emotions have on our body!

In a later scene, the main character looked into a mirror and dramatically exclaimed "I hate you". This normally beautiful woman looked quite unattractive.

Fortunately, the leading character had a 5A9realization. She started loving herself and painted loving art work all over her body. Her whole appearance changed. She looked beautiful again. She was happy. She accepted and loved herself.

Have you ever tried to fight off negativity?

You probably noticed that it was a never ending battle. We might temporarily succeed by placing ourselves inside a protective egg shell where all the bad stuff is outside. Our world can get smaller and smaller as we do that. Pretty soon there's nothing left but us in our shrinking eggshell watching Mary Poppins video.

Have you ever tried to get rid of something by resisting it?

What happened? Did it keep coming back? Could there be a better way?

Yes, fortunately there is a better way. We can observe something and accept it the way it is. This doesn't mean we mentally push it away by telling ourselves that we accept it.

Can we really accept something? Can we allow it to continue forever? If we really can, then magic happens. That something can lift off. I can't promise that you can change physical reality. But I'm not saying that you can't.

I can tell you from experience that you can change your emotional and mental experience.

By accepting your body the way it is, you change the energetic blueprint of your body. And ...

    It feels good.

Personal Growth - Be Your Best Self

    Personal Growth Means Change

I recently mourned the death of one of my dear friends. As I listened to the wonderful comments made by so many as to the kind of p1DE5erson he was, I stopped for a moment to look inside myself to see who I am. There was enormous room for personal growth in my life. Is there room for improvement in your life? Let us take a moment to learn how we can grow to become the person we hope to be.

We all want to be the best that we can be. We sometimes see others and admire certain characteristic traits about them. We have read volumes of self-help books in hopes of fine tuning ourselves. True many of these books help but self-growth goes way beyond reading books. It means we must stop wishing for change and becomes proactive in creating the change. Self-growth is about change.

In order for change to take place within you, you must first define your objectives. Know what changes you want to make. You are aware of the qualities you want to discard from your life. Write them down. Here are some ways to begin to do some introspective work to help you to define the changes you want to make in your life.

  • Make a list of some habits you've often wanted to change.
  • Do you know how you are perceived? Try to get a feel of how others think of you. Make a note of how you want to be perceived and how to can behave to achieve that.
  • Make mental notes of how you treat others.
  • Think back to criticisms you have received in the past.
  • Speak to an objective friend.
  • Observe the behaviors of those you admire and make a note.
  • Make a note of behaviors you see in others that you dislike and look within to see if you share any of those traits. Try to be objective.

  • Personal Growth Means Introspection

True we have to love and accept ourselves unconditionally but we must always strive to be the best that we can be. Self-acceptance should in no way interfere with your ability to be your best. As a matter of fact it should have the reverse effect. It should allow you to know the real you and to have an awareness of where you need to make changes. This awareness will determine how serious you are to grow beyond your current limits.

Take a moment right now to evaluate your life. Look inside to examine the areas where you would like to improve on.

  • Define your character. Who are you when no one is looking?
  • How is your health? Are you doing everything possible to take care of your body?
  • How would your friends, coworkers, people who come in contact describe you?
  • How is your mind? Are you emotionally strong? Is your self-confidence and self-esteem at an all time high? If not would you like to find emotional balance?
  • How is your spiritual health? Do you feed your spiritual need? How is your soul's condition?
  • How do you treat others? Are you kind or are you condescending to people? Do you give of your time to help others that are less fortunate or has self-centeredness consumed you?
  • How is your ego? Is it intact?
  • Are you humble or are you into flaunting it or showing off?
  • Are you a good parent? Do your yell at your kids? Do you put in the time with them to raise emotionally balanced children? Do you help to build strong self-esteem?

  • As you look inside it is important to understand that there is no single recipe that defines how each person can grow personally. It is a hunger for change and a willingness to keep at it no matter if it takes a lifetime. Remember you are not trying to achieve perfection; you are only striving to be the best that you can be.

    Personal Growth means Humility

In order for one to grow, one must be humble enough to recognize and accept the areas where improvement is needed. For you to benefit from introspection and self-reflection a clear sense of humility must exist. This sense of humility will create honest introspection that can make us more aware of the characteristics and behaviors we need to improve on. This kind of humility puts ego aside, creating an open-mindedness to accept constructive criticism. This allows for tremendous growth.

With a spirit of humility you can:

  • Lose self-centeredness
  • Better understand yourself and your motives
  • Better understand your behavior and accept the need for change
  • Recognize your mistakes and accept responsibility for your actions.
  • Recognize the goodness in you
  • Become more understanding of others
  • Be more forgiving

  • Humility is the beginning of knowledge. It is the start of that mindset to gain more wisdom and improve self. The know-it-all attitude is laid to rest, enabling honest introspection, which promotes personal growth.

    Achieve Personal Growth

Once you have humbled yourself, done the honest self-reflection, and gained the awareness, identify the areas in which you need to improve. You must believe that you can achieve the personal growth you want and let go of self-doubt.

  • Make a list of the things you desire to personally achieve. Prioritize the list and select the most urgent issue.
  • Learn everything there is to know about it, whether it is losing weight, letting go of anger, or improving your spiritual life. The more information you have, the more motivation and determination you will develop.
  • As you become more educated in your subject matter, decide if you can implement these changes alone or if you need the assistance of a professional or expert in the field to help you. Getting help is positive step toward achieving personal growth so don't feel inadequate if you need help.
  • Develop a plan for achieving your goal. It must be clearly organized starting from a long-term goal to daily tasks that move you closer each day toward your goal.
  • When discomforts arise, don't give up. Refocus on your plan and exercise the discipline to stick with it. This is where a coach or a professional can assist you.
  • Daily positive affirmations and self-talk are necessary to maintain the motivation to grow.
  • Have faith to believe that you will succeed. Pray for strength to stay the course.

  • It is an admirable quality to be able to identify the areas you need to make changes in your life and even more commendable to take the steps forward to do so. Personal Growth is a catalyst for success in every aspect of your life. Begin the journey today.

Saying You're Sorry Without Action - Time Wasting Self-Improvement

How many times a day do you hear the words I'm sorry? I use the words whenever I feel like I have done something harmful to another person.

I know people that would never even think of apologizing to someone, because it shows a sign of weakness. I don't believe in this, but at the same time, I often tire from listening to the same person saying that they are sorry 30 times a day.

It's these people I'm talking about when I mention, "Saying You're Sorry without Action". I can think of a couple of people in my life that use the word sorry as a poor excuse for their daily activities that seemed to create a repetitive lifestyle of problems.

To me the word sorry becomes meaningless, it used too much by the same person. When this becomes a problem with me, I often make a suggestion to the other person, to quit using the word sorry and start showing me some effort, by changing their life. Changing the way they do things would eliminate the need to say you're sorry, constantly.

If somebody was sincerely sorry, would it continue to happen two, three or four times in the same day. Does this become a habit that they can't seem to break? Do they do it for attention? Is this something that people do for sympathy? I can't really figure it out. Are you lacking the motivation to start solving your own problems or do you need a little help from someone.

Think about it, the next time you say you're sorry to someone. Are you sincerely sorry or is it like flushing the toilet, something you do as a response to something that has came out a you. Be a little more careful with what words you use on a daily basis.

Greg Vanden Berge is a published author, internet marketing expert, motivational inspiration to millions of people all over the world and is sharing some of his wisdom with experts in the fields of writing, marketing, and personal development

Greg is currently working on a self help library filled with great subjects on a wide array of topics, like religion, self help and spiritual changes in the world. His views on religious freedom are slowly changing the way people think about institutional religion

Self Care and Time Management - How to Keep Your Life in Balance at All Times

Do you manage your time effectively?
Do you keep your life in balance?
Do you maintain optimum physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness?
Do you take care of yourself the way you should?
Or, does the story below relate to you?

Sue never got enough sleep. She was lucky if she got 3 to 4 hours of sleep each night. There was just too much to do and not enough hours in the day to do it all. Lack of sleep turned out to be the tip of the iceberg for Sue.

It did not matter to her how many work hours she had to put in, whether in the office or at home. Sue was always drained, perpetually scattered and alone. In time she confessed virtually every available wall in her amply sized executive office suite had stacks of papers, files and books propped up against it always on the verge of teetering over.

Her home was so full of clutter she was embarrassed to invite friends or dates to visit. Similarly her mind felt like it was bulging at the seams. Her bank accounts were a mess. She regularly bounced checks despite having enough money to cover her expenses.

Her social and love life were nearly nonexistent. She had no time for the jewelry she so dearly loved to create. Nor did she have time for the social causes that were close to her heart.

    Why?

Because she didn't know how to manage her time and balance her life.

Sue had an under-energized, self-neglectful relationship with self-care in all aspects. She suffered from insufficiencies in:

    * Inner Self-Care -- This resulted in exhaustion, irritability, weight problems, chronic stress, physical imbalances, weakened immune system and gluttony.

    * Environmental Self-Care --Sue tolerated home and work ambiences that drained her. People began to undermine her wellbeing, self-esteem and her leadership abilities. Crisis and melodrama became part of Sue's lifestyle.

    * Logistical Self-Care -- This resulted in complete disorganization. Sue was stretched too thin. She had imbalances between work and play and between spending and saving. She even fell behind with home maintenance or errands.

Healthy self-care is a key foundational element in all forms of integrity: self-integrity, relationship integrity, societal integrity and leadership integrity.

    What is Self Care?

Self-Care is far different from self-centeredness. It is also far more than merely good sleep, nutrition and exercise habits. Our bodies are complex machine. We cannot sustain our energy unless we are supporting our spiritual, our psychological, our physical and our energetic aspects of our whole being.

    Self-Care Is About Keeping Your:

    * Energy strong and balanced
    * Mind calm yet alert
    * Body capable of supporting you in all areas of your life
    * Environment nourishing
    * Life logistics under control

7 Tips to Improve Your Self-Care & Balance Your Life Habits

    1. Maintain Basic Physical Health Habits. You need to get enough quality sleep for your body's needs and movement. You also need to add a high-quality nutritional diet to your energy system balancing.

    2. Add Time to Soothe, Recharge and Play. Engage in soothing habits that make you purr, such as a massage or a bath. Take time out to restore your inner juice with activities, such as watching your favorite sitcom, gardening or just about any truly creative endeavor that gives you energy. And, don't forget to participate in activities that bring out the kid in you.

    3. Quiet Your Inner Voice. Participate in relaxing activities that allow you to enter inner silence and take a vacation from constant mind chatter. Some people use prayer to quiet their mind. Others will meditate. You can also do Tai Chi, Qigong or Yoga and simultaneously take care of your daily need for physical movement and internal quieting.

    4. Arrange your surroundings so that they most deeply nurture you. This includes not only your physical environments but your people environments as well.

5 Know your optimal blend between "alone time" and "people time."

    6. Master goal setting, time management, file management and money management strategies. Balancing work with play, spending with saving, and making sure that your job and financial choices support your needs for creative self-expression and your ability to spend quality time with those you love while still having energy left over to be of service in the world in ways that call to you.

    7. Streamline your chores and tasks, including home maintenance and errands

Self-Care is unavoidably a daily practice. No amount of rest, passion or acts of service can substitute for it. True Self-Care is simply "enlightened self-interest and service for the higher good."

Follow these tips and you will manage your time and balance your life.

Article Submission - Are You Using the Right Strategy?

Article submission is simple. Write articles related to the services you offer or products you sell, submit these to article directories and you are good to go. Caution! You just don`t submit your articles to any directories. In article submission there are things to consider and strategies to follow for having a good return of investment. While essay submission is simple the strategies applied are not.

To have a good return of investment, more traffic to your website, popularity of your services and reputation for your business, you need to have the perfect strategy in submission. Consider writing an article that speaks more of your field. After you have submitted it to a directory you did get a response. However, the directory is not getting more traffic as you expected, your articles will also not get much attention.

Strategies in article submission include-how you do the submission, what keywords are you using, the directory where you are going to submit your articles and how you manage your bio box- author`s description about him/her and the services promoted.

How you submit your article is a very significant factor in article submission. Automated submission is convenient however you might not be able to reach the right market. Directories have different categories for articles submitted. With automated submission, your article could be placed in a wrong category which not good for your reputation.

Keywords are essential in getting attention for your articles. Article submission will require some keywords to be used for easy access of articles. Having the right keywords will allow readers to search your article.

    All About Indoor Gardening

Modern scientific techniques make it possible for people to grow plants, vegetables and even fruit right in their drawing room in indoor gardens. With the some effort and knowledge you can now grow a variety of plants indoors, either with hydroponics, which is a soil less growing technique or by using suitable techniques for conventional geoponics (growing in soil). Irrespective of the method you choose, you can even make your indoor garden yield better results than a comparable conventional outdoor garden with less effort and in less time.

For successfully using indoor gardening techniques you need to understand five essential aspects of plant growth such as lighting, nutrition etc. These need to be considered and properly provided for during the planning stage, if you want to ensure adequate returns on the time and effort you put in. The five essentials are:

    Lighting

    Environmental Control

    Propagation

    Cultivation

    Nutrition

    Lighting

In the majority of cases, while gardening outdoors, you dont have to consider lighting because the proper light balance and intensity for healthy growth is taken care of by the natural patterns of seasonal and diurnal changes. Your plants sense and respond to these changes and grow in accordance with the natural life cycle progression. When growing indoors you need to properly design the lighting system to provide this vital input for accomplishing the same task.

    Environmental Control Air Circulation

If you want to grow healthy indoor plants you cant afford to neglect air circulation. An adequate supply of fresh air is vital for plant growth as important plant processes depend on exchange of gases between the leaves and the atmosphere. These processes will be impeded in the absence of fresh air. A continual supply of fresh air will help your plants grow strong and healthy.

    Propagation - Starting Stages

Provided you have got all support systems in place, you can start off with seed, a cutting from an existing plant or a pre-started plant. If you plan your garden keeping in mind the stage of the plant life cycle you want to start with, you will be in a better position to take care of all the inputs your plants will need at different times in its life cycle.

    Cultivation - Hydroponics or Soil?

In hydroponics or soil-less gardening, the plant is supplied nutrients mixed with water. With these nutrients the plant grows much faster resulting in larger yields than in conventional gardening. Plants grown in soil need to be provided a container that is large enough to sustain growth. The rule of thumb is to provide for the larger of the two -one gallon of soil per foot of plant growth or one gallon per month of growth. You may need to do a little research to decide which method will best suit your preferences considering your budget, the amount of time and effort you can devote etc.

    Nutrition

Providing the right nutrients at different stages of the plant life-cycle is important. During the vegetative phase, plants that put out heavy vegetation need larger amounts of nitrogen. On the other hand, during fruiting time they need a high phosphorous mix. An abundant supply of trace elements is vital for plant growth in indoor gardening. Select trace elements rich nutrients to meet the unique demands of plants grown in containers.

Do You Dig Your Garden? I Don't!

I really don't dig my garden. Do you? Well, I mean physically dig my garden. I love gardening the no dig way. It is a lot less labor intensive, organic and takes a lot less space.

There are different methods of no dig gardening. Lasagna gardening and straw bale gardening are two methods of a no dig garden. The are both methods of organic gardening and will produce a healthy and productive crop like any other garden will.

Lasagna gardening is a method of gardening that involves preparing the garden bed in layers. The use of compost, cardboard, straw and other organic matter is installed in a garden bed one layer at a time. Once the layers are installed you plant your plants as you would in a traditional garden or raised bed garden.

Straw bale gardening is a little more basic than any other type of gardening. It is where you use a bale of straw or multiple bales and plant your seeds or plants into the bale. This is done by making a holes in the bale then placing you plants or seeds in that hole and then fill the hole with compost or your own blend of soil mix.

Both of these methods of gardening are ideal if you are limited for space. They can be built just about anywhere and can add a creative design to you landscape. Also they are a great garden to build if the area that you have is to rocky or doesn't drain well. These types of gardens are built above ground just as a raised bed garden is built.

Be creative. Try your hands at no dig gardening.

A environment friendly and healthy way of gardening. Organic Gardening is away of gardening in harmony with nature. Growing a healthy and productive crop in a way that is healthier for both you and the environment.

Passion + Purpose = Action or How to Light a Fire

Wanna really turn up the heat in your life? Then use the crucial ingredient essential to turning dreams into reality thats action. Without placing a cake in the oven, all the mixing, folding and combination of ingredients wont get you a finished cake. Its ACTION that produces the final results. Lets focus in on taking the action steps necessary to live our lives full of passion and purpose.

    Talk is Cheap

A little less conversation, a little more actionwell they didnt call Elvis the King for nothing. He knew about action (in more ways than one, but thats not the point). He understood talk and action were different. It can be easy to get caught up in the what if syndrome. I used to have a bad case of the what ifs myself. What if I wrote a book? What if I took this class? What if I pursue my passion? What if it doesnt work? We all do it. Its human nature. We talk to our friends, annoy our co-workers, and wear-out our families! Talking about something isnt getting us any closer to the finish line than we already are. In fact, talking about it keeps us stuck.

What keeps us talking? FEAR. In The Aladdin Factor, Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen remind us, If you keep on doing what youve always done, youll keep on getting what youve always got. This is otherwise referred to as the definition of insanity. They also refer to the wise words of Stan Dale, Comfort zones are plush lined coffins. When you stay in your plush lined coffins, you die. Lets stop the chitchat, step out of our cushy coffins and get busy living.

    Dream vs. Do

So you say Im a dreamer. Well Im not the only one. John Lennon was a dreamer, but he also understood that living our dreams requires action. Honestly, if you can dream it, you can do it. But dreaming alone can find us in Fantasy Land. We sit and spin the story in our minds. We envision living a life of grand proportions. Waking up each day and stepping into the perfect life. There is no perfect (Im a recovering perfectionista too, so I speak from experience), only an original screenplay written and directed and starring our im-perfect selves. The beauty of dreams is that we CAN manifest the things we see in our minds eye. We just need to get over the Yeah, but how?

In Good to Great, Jim Collins shares, Weve allowed the way transitions look from the outside to drive our perception of what they must feel like to those going through them on the inside. From the outside, they look like dramatic, almost revolutionary breakthroughs. But from the inside, they feel completely different, more like an organic development process. Lets stop freaking ourselves out with negative self-talk and how could I? scenarios. Change does require action but its not our job to know exactly how well get from A-Z. Set your intention on the goal and trust that the Universe wants you to have everything your heart desires and then some. Dont worry about the details - just set the wheels in motion.

    Do vs. BE

Multi-tasking has become the norm. We get so caught up in the doing of everyday life. We get up, rush to eat, fly out the door, get to office, more multi-tasking ensues, race home, whip up or pick up some food - if we eat at all, spend some quality time with a friend, spouse, partner, kids, the TV, or the Internet and then hit the haybeat down!

Doesnt sounds like the secret to success, huh? Lets flip that switch. Were human BEINGs not human DOINGs. How might we re-frame our lives to start BEING the unique, and creative individuals we were designed to be? First, we must SLOW down. I knowcrazy talk, right? Youre sayinghow can I slow down? Ive got too much on my plate as it is. Well you really CANT do it all. So clean up your stuff, commit to what you really want and take the required baby steps to get there.

Grab a notebook and start asking questions. What three things would I like to incorporate into my day that I am not doing right now? What three things could I eliminate in order to do those other things? What do I really want my days to look like?

What would you do with 30 more minutes a day just for you? What if you got up just 30 minutes earlier? If youve got kids and a spouse, let them know that you are off limits. Would you read? Journal? Work out? Meditate? Have a conversation with God? Take a walk? Have coffee outside and listen to the sounds of a new day dawning?

I understand were not all morning people. But are those extra 30 minutes youre hitting the snooze button, quality sleep anyway? Lets stop complaining that there arent enough hours in the day and re-arrange the 24 weve already got. If living your life your way requires getting up 30 minutes earlier, wouldnt it be worth it? How could it NOT be? Beers become who they are intended to be. Doers die with overflowing in-boxes. Each and every day we have a choice. Which path do you choose? (Yes, sometimes I choose to snooze, but more often than not, I choose to nurture myself).

    Imperfect Perfection

According to Deepak Chopra in, The Book of Secrets, There is no limit to how far your influence can reach, but to find that out you must engage life with passion. When you do anything with passion, you express every aspect of who you are. Passion releases all the energy you posses. At that moment you put yourself on the line, for if you throw everything you have into a pursuit, weaknesses are also exposed. Passion brings up everything.

This inescapable fact discourages many people, who dislike the negative parts of themselves so much, or are so intimidated by them, that they hold their passion in check in the belief that life will be made safer. Perhaps it will, but at the same time they are greatly limiting their understanding of what life can bring. The willingness to reach inside every part of yourself opens the door to total understanding. When you hold some part of yourself in reserve you deny it exposure to life; you repress its energy and keep it from understanding what it needs to know.

Wow! Have you ever experienced feeling like that? I have. I was a mess as I was about to launch my website. I was worried about being judged and over-exposed. That people would see all of me. The dark and the light. The good, the bad and the indifferent. The highs and the lows. Me at my finest, as well as, imperfect. I have reached a new level of understanding regarding perfection. I now know that we are ALL whole, complete and perfect AS IS. Right now. It doesnt get any better than this, only different. I appreciate the ebb and flow of my moods more and dont freak out when Im feeling funky (OK, I still freak a little, but Im working on reveling in my funkiness).

My clients have found greater success when they allow themselves to be whole and not just good. One of my clients recently got over her good girl complex, and her world just opened up! Try watching babies. Theyve got this down to a science. One minute they are peaches and cream and the next oil and vinegar. Are they any less beautiful when they are crying than when they are laughing? No. Simply different. Go ahead, revel in your imperfect perfection, its your birthright.

    Karma-chameleon

Taking action requires being flexible. You might set out to move forward in one way and then events fall into place and opportunities knock on doors you didnt even know existed. Be flexible and open to the synchronicities that play out in your life. If you open up your heart and ask the Universe to help guide you to your higher purpose, or your desired goal, you have to be open to the way these opportunities will arrive. Dont be so fixated on It has to look like this, or It needs to play out like that.

Synchronicity is the Universal communication system. Example, yesterday I was in a colleagues office and noticed the book, Good to Great on his desk. I commented that Id heard about this book in an article Id read recently. Picked the book up, gleaned it over and went back about my business. 10 minutes later, I received an e-mail from a friend with this book listed as a great resource. Hmmm, lets countthats three times that book came into my awareness in about a 3-day window. I decided the universe was trying to tell me something. That book had a message for me and it was time to investigate.

Im still reading it, but I gained a valuable and relevant quote to share with you all. Maybe thats all I was supposed to get out of it. Im not sure. Either way, I got the tap on my shoulder and interpreted it as, Hey Kam. Time to pick up this book. Had I been completely fixated on the copy Id written prior to finding that book, this article might not have had as big of an impact. Moral to the story, stay flexible and chameleon-like. You never know when intuition will ask you to make a right instead of a left. That voice could save you from a traffic accident and it could also get you to where you need to be easier and more efficiently than you could on your own.

    Jump

Theres only so much you can learn in one place. The more that you wait. The more time that you waste. Ahhh, that controversial genius Madonna. She is the perfect example of being chameleon-like. If shed gotten stuck in the same sound, same look, same accent, she never would have had the successful career thats spanned decades.

Ask yourself what youre willing to do to move forward. Are you willing to jump? What would it take for you to courageously leap forward? What action is necessary for you to live life by design instead of by default? To live out loud and passionately and on purpose? To BE present and trust that from moment to moment youll get there. As Peter N. Zarlenga said, Action conquers fear. What are you waiting for? Get busy!
